Hi! I'm Gavin Hart.
Welcome to my photo blog! I hope you enjoy your visit.
Currently I am living in a very photogenic location - Australia's Gold Coast.
As a photographer, I'm just an amateur and take photos simply for pleasure. I think I am driven to collecting images through a desire to absorb myself in the appreciation of beauty in the world and also to capture moments in time which otherwise would slip by and remain only as dim memories in my mind. It's an attempt to hold on to or cling to the preciousness of life.
My postings on this website also attempt to express a way of seeing the world. I hope I can share with you something worthwhile through these snippets.
I also enjoy being part of the community of fellow photobloggers, value the friendships made, albeit largely online and find much inspiration in their photography.

In my mind, 'azure' represents the soft blue color of the earth as seen from space. 'Globe' represents the planet on which we dwell. The beauty and wonder we find on this glorious sphere are what we so passionately seek to capture and embrace within our images.
