Tallebudgera Lifeguards

A little while back, I went for a walk on the beach to get myself out of the gloom of my 'darkroom'. The weather was slightly overcast but I took my little compact camera with me rather than the heavy backpack with all my SLR gear. I spotted these lifeguards from the Tallebudgera Surf Club keeping watch over the beach so snapped this scene as I passed by. The small Fujifilm F30 certainly doesn't do as good a job as my Nikon D70, the sharpening algorithm which can't be disabled seems a bit edgy I think. Because of the dull day, I fiddled levels and contrast plus added a vignette and did some dodge and burn to enhance the shot a bit. I see one of the girls at the back of the shelter is making a 'V' sign with her fingers. The rest seem to be ignoring my camera.
