I've processed another version of the previous photo. It's my first attempt at adding texture to an image. I don't think I was too heavy handed. I know I've created a fake 'film' effect but until I can procure a scanner that is able to scan my Holga negatives, this will have to do to satisfy my analog cravings. If you want to compare the two images, just open the previous version in a new browser tab and switch between the tabs.
Lovely! Beautiful landscape!! Robert Kruh @ 2009-06-21
I really like the texture in this fine image. It does add and old scratched negative look. Well done. Robert @ 2009-06-21
I like previous one too. ... but ... this processed one reminds me some old print that found in the box from past.
It add some nostalgic feel and suite to the B&W image you have here. Ben @ 2009-06-21
beautiful shot - great range of tones. grant @ 2009-06-21

Awesome shoot and lovely processing! Congrats! Robert Kruh @ 2009-06-22
More contrast like really nice to look. The amount of texture added still just balance with the entire photo. Scanning negative remains a lot of job for everybody, soon for me. Doum @ 2009-06-23
love the sparkly, layered nature of this shot. david @ 2009-06-24
Great seaside... and awesome processing on the tones... Mahbubur Rahman @ 2009-06-25
Excellent use of light, a beautiful BW image of this gorgeous ocean shore with great contrasts and textures. John Maslowski @ 2009-06-26
Interesting texture in the sky. Almost looks like airplane trails. Nice reflections coming off the water. Mike @ 2009-06-26
I'm looking forward to seeing your Holga shots.
You have done a fine job here but the digital 'quality' always shines through. Even when you exaggerate the analog effect like these guys: http://blog.goo.ne.jp/buddhayashi/ or http://blog.goo.ne.jp/meatpia joel @ 2009-07-01
