DESCRIPTION:
This is the first of the seascape posts that I promised. I took this shot earlier this year when I was experimenting with filters. It was early morning and I used a 'sunset' filter, inserted well down in the holder. The effect is rather unnatural looking. I seem to be producing surreal images of late. I think the color in this gives the scene a rather foreboding mood.
The pier structure is part of a sand pumping project which sucks sand from the sea bed and transports it by pipeline to the nearby Gold Coast to replenish eroded beaches and keep the tourists happy.
I am still behind with my blog visiting. I hope I will catch up soon.
