DESCRIPTION:

Supernova above this pier at Tweed Heads? Nah, it's just the morning sun. The shot is another one taken using a sunset filter. I ordered filters from an eBay supplier and received a substitute brand in lieu and it seems to me that the tinting is very severe. I had to fiddle a lot with Photoshop to tame this beach image - I probably won't use the colored ones much in future. Not all the photos in this seascape series will have such hues - I have converted some that are to follow in subsequent posts to black & white.

• Yes Ben, it is very orange and it is a gradient type. The intensity of the result also depends on how far down it is inserted in the holder. I think the other brand is also orange but tends a little more towards pink.
