DESCRIPTION:

An Alien Creature Assimilates

A spent and unloved creature of the twentieth century lies ill at rest, stranded and seemingly unable to crawl those last few feet into the rock cave where it could find peace and complete its metamorphosis into to the basic elements from which it came.

As a photographer with an acute appreciation of the aesthetically beautiful artworks wrought by nature, I have always thought that the shiny, fuming automobile, plastic bags and such products of mankind have been alien to and caused a desecration of this glorious blue planet which is Earth. Here, forces are at work transforming the defeated and still bleeding creature into a form which more and more takes on the colors of earth. No longer shining and noisily rushing around it is now blending into the landscape and eventually will no longer offend the sensitive eyes of those who would behold beauty.
